Texas A&M has officially learned that transfer?Brandon Williams will not be a part of its deep stable of running backs for the 2012 season.

The school confirmed Wednesday that the NCAA has denied Williams? appeal for a hardship waiver that would?ve granted the back immediate eligibility and allowed him to play this season. ?AggieSports.com reports that?the NCAA denied A&M?s original request Aug. 2, and the school?s appeal of that decision was recently denied as well.

No reason for the request of a hardship waiver was given.
