Responsibilities:

Research, Organize, Write, Edit and Produce high quality client-facing field support and installation documentation
Recommend overall organization and layout, editorial standards & publication methods based on an understanding of the customer use model
Extract product and usage information from engineering teams and produce clear, concise and accurate documentation
Maintain & communicate plans and schedules for documentation projects

Requirements:

Bachelor degree or Technical Writing certificate, and 5 years technical writing experience
Proven success producing engineering-oriented documentation
Previous experience working with user manuals or field service documentation would be highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and accuracy-Experience using multiple documentation tools to develop base templates and manipulate output styles
Strong Project Management skills to help plan, communicate and update stakeholders on progress
Experience interviewing engineers to elicit accurate content
Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability contribute to the effectiveness of the work environment
A proactive and open-minded attitude to resolving problems and delivering the right results
A passion to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Ability to stay on target and on track under normal circumstances, and to expedite efforts when required
Ideal candidates have both a technical background that enables them to easily interact with engineers and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality technical documents
