Kristen Stewart is going ?gay? while Robert Pattinson?s away, claims the National Enquirer.

The tabloid, which has published a litany of embarrassingly wrong stories about the actress in recent months, now says that Stewart?s friendship with Katy Perry?s assistant Tamra Natisin is more than it seems.

?Rob will hit the roof when he sees photos of Kristen and Tamra hanging out together,? a so-called ?insider? tells the Enquirer. ?It?s obvious to all of her friends that there?s a romance brewing between them.?

What?!

According to the magazine, Stewart ?raised eyebrows by lavishing attention on Tamra? during an evening at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood on March 3.

?They arrived together and spent the entire night talking to each other, ignoring everyone around them,? says the Enquirer insider.

The tab?s source adds, ?After a few hours, they left together. Lately, Kristen and Tamra have been spending all their free time together.?

Um, we?re missing the part where the Enquirer provides evidence that Stewart and Natisin are in a romantic relationship.

The magazine?s ?sources? explain that Stewart ?doesn?t seem to be missing? Pattinson now that she?s ?found Tamra, who?s said to be very vocal about equality for same-sex couples and even attended a gay pride rally in the past year.?

Wow.

So because Kristen Stewart is friends with someone who supports same-sex marriage, the Enquirer is convinced they?re dating.

This is desperate, even by the Enquirer?s standards.

Needless to say, when Gossip Cop asked about the report, a source close to Stewart laughed off the ridiculous rumor.
