Southlake Parks and Recreation Introduces Mini-Kickers ...

For the fans of the popular Mini-Dribblers and Mini-Huddle programs, the Southlake Parks and Recreation coaches are excited to announce the addition of soccer to the Mini-Sports programs! Mini-Kickers is a great way to introduce your child, ages 4-5, to soccer in a fun, friendly and safe environment!

Practice will start Monday, April 22 and participants will meet every Monday and Wednesday at Durham Intermediate School until May 15. Through interactive drills and exercises, boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of soccer including kicking, dribbling, passing and shooting. Teamwork, sportsmanship and overall FUN will be emphasized over direct competition. Parents, be sure to join us for the last day of the season as players will get the chance to show off their new skills in the ?Big Game.?
